The reasoning behind this piece is always part of the personal research on ways to question the menswear/womenswear dichotomy through more or less subtle translations and juxtapositions of elements historically confined to one or the other "sphere". I might have to get better at this name thing but "gowny" came to me simply because I wanted a pair of pants that felt like a ball gown skirt, with a similar volume and silhouette. So, long story short, it had to feel gown-y.

This piece is of the Proteiforme Unitario Insieme - Remixed (Vol.1) Collection #0001

A ballgown-like volume is fused to a cummerbund as the waistband. The back has a 3 eyelets lace up closure and a zipper, to mimic a corset style.

Here they’re shown in a JACQUARD PLAID fabric by Bonotto, with lurex thread throughout.

Composition: 100% PL, 200 gr/mq

Machine washable: 30°C Max

Do not iron with steam - Low heat
